Active, inactive and hidden products

“Active” goods

Products displayed to users on the Monstroplace website are shown in the active products section of the seller's account. Active products can be in the status "In stock" (products on sale) and "Out of stock".

Items on sale are items that a customer can place an order for and you must fulfill the order. It is important to monitor and regularly update information about the availability and balance of your goods, as well as inform users about items "pre order".

Products that are not in stock, you will not be able to add while editing the order, or creating an order in the seller's personal account.

Inactive and hidden products

The inactive products section displays items that are not available for order on the Monstroplace website. Depending on the reason, inactive products are divided into 4 possible groups (if there are no products in any of the groups, the tab will be hidden):

• products that have errors in the product card;
• inactive due to technical issues.
• removed from the price list;
• hidden as a result of moderation;

Each product has a reason why it’s inactive.

The reasons for which the goods will be hidden by the moderator. For each cause, a solution to the problem is listed.

• The product contains links to third-party resources

o Remove the mention of third-party resources in the description/photo of the product

• Manufacturer field is empty

o Specify the manufacturer in the product card.

• Prohibited category/brand for sale on Monstroplace

o Placement is not possible. The list of prohibited brands and categories is updated periodically.

• Prohibited content for sale on the site

o Placement is not possible. The site prohibits the sale of goods that violate the current legislation or may be regarded as obscene, offensive or misleading.

• Violation of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)

o Provide proof of copyright

• Assortment at the photo

o Remove product range photos. Add photos that meet the requirements

• Incorrect characteristics of the goods (errors and inconsistencies in values)

o Check and adjust the information specified in the characteristics, name, description and photo of the product

• Missing option for grouping

o Add an important characteristic of the product, necessary for its grouping

• Missing product photo

o Add product photos that meet requirements

• Missing Features

o Add product features

• Counterfeits, copies and replicas of goods are prohibited for sale on the Monstroplace website

o Placement is not possible. You can only sell original products on Monstroplace

• Link/mention of a third-party resource in a text description, description, photo.

o Edit the description of the product, remove links to third-party resources, mention of the assortment, spelling errors

• Product added to the wrong category

o Indicate the correct product category in the product card

• The specified brand does not exist.

o Indicate the correct name of the manufacturer, or provide supporting documents for the registration of the brand/trademark.

• The photo does not match the product

o Replace photos. Check and adjust the information specified in the characteristics, name, description and photo of the product

• Photo does not meet the requirements

o Review product photo requirements and remove/replace images that do not meet requirements

• Poor quality photo

o Add high-quality product photos and remove images that do not meet the requirements

• Lack of permits for the sale of goods

o Send the necessary documents to the administration for the implementation of your category of goods.

• Dropshipping products

To activate products that have not passed moderation, you must first eliminate the comments indicated in the "Reason for blocking" field. After that, the goods will be displayed in the "For confirmation" section of the goods and you need to send the goods for re-moderation.
